So, as all the reviews said, these wheels dirty quick. I finally own a decent set of wheels, so I figured I treat them as such. Some quick homework yields that the products from GTechniq seem to be some of the best out there. There is an authorized detailer near me that can do the wheel faces for $150 per set; and the full wheel for $400.

OR

I buy their products and do it myself for about $50-$75

OR

I go with something less expensive.

I’d say my detailing ability is at a 5/10. Since these wheels only see the road on RallyCross events and the winter, they are not out on the road year round.

Watched their video of the guy applying it to the 918 wheel. He says it should be reapplied every 4 washes or so? Seems excessive

Once a month is good. That’s the standard in any wheel wax. Use a separate wheel bucket for washing as well to segregate metal particulate from getting into main wash water.

how many sets of wheels can you get through with one container of that? If I’m applying once a month, I feel like I’d be buying that stuff every other month or so.

Take a small amount of it while wearing rubber gloves. Let the heat of your hands melt it and apply it with your gloved hands. One container last quite a long time.
